In my first four months at First Evangelical Free Church, I’ve now preached in one way or another on church discipline and now this past Sunday on financial giving and stewardship (not by choice…both of these topics were front and center in the books our church has been going through). This sermon from Malachi 3:7-12 focused on giving in the context of our heart-orientation toward God in worship. May we give ourselves first to Lord, and then by the will of God give to His work in the church and in the world (2 Corinthians 8:5)!
