As I continue to prepare for our church’s upcoming M.E.O.W. (Missions, Evangelism, and Outreach Week), I long for the nations to find joy in Christ! This is a video on Psalm 67 that I came across a couple of years ago. It always inspires me as to the breadth of God’s plan in Christ to redeem a people for Himself from every tribe, tongue, and nation. Let the nations be glad!

Our church is preparing to put on a training event on missions, evangelism, and outreach. M.E.O.W. (Missions, Evangelism, and Outreach Week) is coming up June 2-6, 2014 and I’m praying for people to make it a priority to come and catch the passion. I’m also praying that we’ll see lasting evangelistic fruit through this effort by God’s grace. Jesus Won’t Return During Ballet Class!
Sometimes our four-year old daughter, Ladybug, thinks about deep things just before going to sleep. I had a funny conversation with her last night while I was tucking her in…
LADYBUG : Daddy, do you know that Jesus is going to come back again?
DADDY : I do.
LADYBUG : He’ll come down from heaven and will go up to the sky!
DADDY : What made you think about that?
LADYBUG : AWANA. But Jesus won’t come back today, right?
DADDY : We don’t know. It could be today, or tomorrow, or years and years.
LADYBUG : But probably not tomorrow. I have ballet class.
DADDY : Oh, Jesus won’t come during ballet?
LADYBUG : Nope.
So there you have it, Jesus’ return won’t be during ballet class. I love to hear how her little mind processes things!
